- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is attending a TCC extra ordinary Summit in Kampala on the African Union Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM).
- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud received the Iraqi Minister of Interior, His Excellency Abdul Amir Al Shammari, and received a message from the President of Iraq.
- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met with the European Union Delegation to Somalia, discussing the strategic partnership between Somalia and the European Union.
- President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud received the Chairman of the Djibouti Football Federation and Vice President of CAF, Suleyman Hassan Waaberi.
- The Cabinet of the Federal Government of Somalia has commended the recent victories registered by the Somali National Forces and civil defence forces at frontlines against the Kharijites Al-Shabab.
- Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre met with the Iraqi Minister of Interior, Mr. Abdul Amir Al Shammari, who is visiting Somalia.
- Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre launched the Implementation of the National Policy on Civil Servants’ Ranks and Salaries, saying that this policy will strengthen the Somali workforce.
- Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre sent a congratulatory message to his counterpart, the new Prime Minister of Serbia, Mr. Đuro Macut, and his new Cabinet.
- The Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia, Mr. Abdisalam Abdi Ali Dhaay, chaired important meetings with the subcommittees on organizing and awareness-raising, and on finance and support.
- The Speaker of the House of the People, Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur (Madobe), and the Speaker of the Upper House, Mr. Abdi Hashi Abdullahi, held a meeting with the Parliament’s Constitutional Oversight and Review Committee and the Independent Committee for the Review and Implementation of the Constitution.
- Finance Minister Bihi Iman Ige has taken over the leadership of the Horn of Africa Cooperation Forum, which brings together Somalia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan and South Sudan.
- The National Armed Forces and local heroes inflicted a heavy defeat on the Kharijites who attacked the Wargaadhi area in the Middle Shabelle region, killing more than 40 terrorist plotters.
- The Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development, Mahmoud Abdirahman Sheikh Farah, held a fruitful meeting with the Danish Ambassador to Somalia, Mr. Steen Sonne Andersen.
- The Minister of Fisheries and Marine Economy, Ahmed Hassan Aden, held a meeting with the Ministry’s Fisheries Monitoring and Conservation Center (FMC), where he was briefed on the situation of vessels at sea, especially those with legal status and those without.
- The Minister of Interior, Mr. Ali Yusuf Ali Xoosh, held a meeting with the Acting Ambassador of Norway to Somalia, Carsten Carlsen, to discuss issues of reconciliation, democratization, elections, the peacebuilding process, and stabilization.
- The Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation of Somalia has described as illegal the move by the Puntland administration to issue identity cards, which violates the national identity scheme established by the constitution.
- Foreign Minister Ambassador Ahmed Moallim Fiqi reiterated that the Somali government and people are committed to ridding the country of the Kharijites.
- Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Mohamed Abdi Hayir (Maareeye) met with officials of the Danwadaag Rice Company to transfer funds intended for the purchase of modern rice machinery.
- The Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Ali Haaji Aden, laid the foundation stone for the construction of the emergency department at Forlanini/Lasareti Hospital in Mogadishu.
- Health Minister Dr. Ali Haji Aden officially launched the Pneumonia and Diarrhea Vaccines for Somali children.
- Interior Minister Ali Yusuf Ali (Xoosh) held an important meeting with a delegation from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Integrated Electoral Support Group (IESG).
- Finance Minister Bihi Iman Ige attended the IMF and World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington.
- The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mohamed Abdukadir Ali, received the Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Somalia in his office.
- The Governor of Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Mohamed Ahmed Amiir, handed over a donation of medicines to the Somali National Army Hospital Administration, and also visited the wounded members of the Armed Forces and local defense forces who are being treated at the hospital.
- The Ministry of Fisheries and Blue Economy held an important meeting that brought together all ministry staff, a meeting aimed at expressing full support for the Somali National Army in the war zones.
- The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change held the second phase of the Awareness Campaign for the Prevention of Plastic Bag Use and Environmental Safety Week in Mogadishu.
- Minister of Trade and Industry Mahmoud Ahmed Aden participated in the African Free Trade and Economic Cooperation Conference held in Djibouti.
- The Somali Ambassador to Mongolia based in China, Ms. Hodan Osman Abdi, has officially presented her credentials to the President of Mongolia, His Excellency Khürelsükh Ukhnaa.
- The Chairman of the Somali Disaster Management Authority, Mahmoud Moallim Abddulle, inaugurated the Somali Humanitarian Forum in Galkayo.
- The Somali Ambassador to Uganda, Amb. Fardowsa Mohamed Qanyare, met with the Director General of the Uganda Immigration and Citizenship Agency, Gen. Apollo Kasiita-Gowa.
- Some disabled people in the Banadir region have been provided with disabled vehicles to reach voter registration centers.
